This new AV receiver has a height of only 11 cm, which is lower than the usual 16.5 cm. Marantz claims that the 70s is designed to deliver the same quality as a full-sized amplifier, with Marantz’s characteristic warm and detailed sound.
Stereo 70s features six HDMI inputs, three of which support 8K. One of the HDMI inputs also supports ARC but not eARC, it seems. It can handle 192kHz 24-bit digital audio and DSD files. It also includes Denon’s HEOS Built-In for streaming and multiroom playback. Spotify Connect, Amazon Music HD, Apple Airplay, Bluetooth, Tidal, and TuneIn are all onboard. The amplifier delivers 75 W per channel and belongs to the A/B type.
The Marantz Stereo 70s is priced at 999 euros and is available in black and silver.
