Dali already has a compact center speaker in the popular Oberon series, but now they’re stepping it up with a larger model: the Oberon Grand Vokal, specially designed to match the floorstanding Oberon 7 and Oberon 9 speakers.

The center speaker can be considered the single most important speaker in a home theater system, primarily because it reproduces the dialogue between characters on the screen. But it should also recreate the sound of everything else you see on the screen and connect it with the front and surround channels. So the center channel is not where you should skimp on resources if you want to achieve a credible and immersive soundstage.
Dali is likely aware of this, as they seem to have been very meticulous with the new center speaker in the Oberon series. The Grand Vokal utilizes well-known speaker elements, featuring two 7-inch SMC-type bass drivers known for low distortion. Additionally, a 29mm soft dome tweeter, known from the Oberon series, is employed. The frequency range extends down to 45 Hz, and Dali claims it will deliver crystal-clear dialogue and sound effects, ‘regardless of volume!’
