Apple’s results for the second quarter are in, and along with a record high revenue for iPhone during Q2, the company also managed to break revenue records for its services. A large portion of its revenue comes from various subscriptions, which CEO Tim Cook says have nearly reached 1 billion subscribers. Apple now has 975 million active subscriptions, an increase of over 40 million in just three months. Over the past year, Apple is said to have gained over 150 million new subscribers.
We did not receive any additional information on the number of Apple devices in use, apart from the fact that it is “over two billion.”
