During today’s Google I/O, Google presented some news about Bard, the chatbot that has so far received a rather cool reception compared to its competitor ChatGPT.

Google will now integrate more tools into Bard, which among other things means that Bard’s answers can integrate information from Google Maps. Google has also started a partnership with Adobe, which means that Bard’s users can give the chatbot parameters to create an image, which Adobe’s generative text-to-image AI creates the image (see example below).

Perhaps the biggest news about Google Bard is that the chatbot will now be available in 180 markets, having previously only been available in the US and UK. Initially, Bard will only support English, but Google plans to implement support for over 40 new languages in the future.
