Last month, Google’s Bard became available to reliable testers, and now it seems that the chatbot is approaching a public launch as Google opens up Bard to even more users. Users in the US and UK can now add themselves to a waitlist to test Bard directly. However, Google warns that the chatbot is still in an experimental stage and that it is not here to replace Google Search.
Bard uses LaMDA, a conversational AI model that Google introduced in 2021, to contextualize data retrieved from the web and provide a response in text form.
