Microsoft is keeping its promise to make its Phone Link app available to iPhone users in mid-May. The new app allows iPhone users to connect to a Windows 11 computer and send and receive messages via iMessage, make and receive calls, and see all call notifications on their computer.
The app works over Bluetooth for calls, messages, and notifications, and is available in 85 countries. The app can send iMessage messages by receiving incoming messages over Bluetooth and forwarding them, similar to how car infotainment systems work. However, this means that you cannot view a full chat history or participate in group iMessage conversations.
