WhatsApp has not had an official iPad app so far, but that is about to change. Meta has started testing a beta version of WhatsApp for iPad.

Previously, iPad users had to use the web version or the iPhone version, which was not compatible with the iPad. The new iPad app works similarly to the Mac app, with users scanning a QR code with their phone to access their conversations. The app also works when the phone is not nearby or connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

It is still unclear when the app will be available to the public, but hopefully, it will be on the App Store soon.
