Today is an exciting day for all fans of the Alien franchise and real-time strategy game enthusiasts. “Aliens Dark Descent” has finally been released, and the reviews have been mostly positive.

The Alien franchise has had its highs and lows when it comes to games, from the standout “Alien Isolation” to the extremely buggy “Aliens Colonial Marines.”

With a score of 72 out of 100 on Metacritic, it’s clear that the team at Tindalos Interactive has done a really good job of handling the Alien license.

The gaming website Gamespew.com gives it an 8/10 rating and writes in their review, “We are very impressed with Aliens Dark Descent. It’s evident that the developers are fans of the Alien movies, and you can tell how much love they’ve put into this title. Aside from the engaging gameplay, the story had us hooked right from the start. The only disappointment for some may be the lack of a multiplayer mode, but the game is priced accordingly. If you’re an Alien fan, you simply can’t miss this, even if you don’t typically enjoy real-time strategy games.”

In the game, we have the opportunity to customize our squad with different classes and specializations, and by leveling up the soldiers and researching new technology, we can further improve our chances of survival. Tactical leadership and wise resource management are crucial to outsmart the Xenomorphs.

The game is being released today, June 20, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
