Sony’s game studio Media Molecule has announced that they will stop developing Dreams, the Playstation 4 app where users could create their own games and experiences for Sony’s game console.
In a blog post, Media Molecule writes that they plan to release a final update to Dreams in September and then focus on a new project. After September 1, Media Molecule will also no longer offer live support for Dreams. In the blog post, they write:
As we continue to evaluate and evolve our priorities for the studio and Dreams, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue live support for Dreams after 1st September, 2023 to shift our focus to an exciting new project.

Dreams will still be available for purchase and users can continue to create and share their creations even after the last update for Dreams has been released, according to Media Molecule.
