In just a few weeks, Bethesda will finally release Starfield for Xbox Series S/X and Windows. But if you want to have most of the data files on your gaming device right now, you can start downloading them already.

However, the game will require at least 100.19GB on console, so you might need to delete some Call of Duty files if you’re running low on space. The Windows version will need 139.84GB of hard drive space. If you’ve pre-ordered the game on Steam, that version won’t be available for download until August 30th.

But having the files on your computer doesn’t mean you’ll be able to play it before September 6th. However, if you have them ready, you can start as soon as the servers allow it.
