There are just a couple of weeks left until Baldur’s Gate 3 finally leaves early access and is officially released on PC. Until recently, it was scheduled for release on August 31st, but Larian seems to have moved it up to August 3rd on PC to avoid competing with a certain space game. We’re, of course, referring to Starfield, which is set to be released on September 6th or “up to five days earlier” if you purchase one of the more expensive editions.

The deluxe edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 used to include 72 hours of early access to the game, but Larian has now clarified that this is no longer the case on PC. Therefore, players will not be able to start playing on July 31st. The PlayStation 5 version, on the other hand, will be released on September 6th, and the 72-hour early access still applies if you have the deluxe edition or higher.

Larian is still working on getting the game to run satisfactorily on the Xbox Series S, so we are awaiting a confirmed date for Microsoft’s consoles.
