Microsoft announced today that the game Minecraft will be released for Chromebooks. There is now an Early Access version available to download, but the final version should arrive sometime later this year. The Chromebook version of the game will, among other things, support cross-device play with friends and will also have access to the Minecraft Marketplace.
Currently, a decent processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage are required for your Chromebook to handle the game.
