Microsoft has presented a new wireless controller for Xbox that may be of interest to Xbox players who want to show that they are making a slightly more environmentally conscious choice when buying a new Xbox controller.

The controller is called the “Remix Special Edition” and one third of the material in the controller is said to come from recycled plastic, which includes old CDs, water bottles, and old game consoles. The new controller also includes a rechargeable battery pack so that the user doesn’t have to use disposable batteries for the controller.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – Remix Special Edition is available for preorder worldwide for $84.99 USD MSRP, and will be released on April 18. Check your local retailer for product availability in your region. For more product details, visit Xbox.com.
