Despite Asus’ own handheld gaming console ROG Ally being presented a bit inconveniently on April 1st, it wasn’t an April Fools’ joke, and now Asus announces that the device will be released globally.

In a tweet, the company states that the device will be released worldwide “sooner than you expect.”

So far, we don’t know all the specifications, but what we do know is that Ally will have a custom-built Ryzen APU from AMD and will feature a Full HD screen with 120Hz. It is also said that it will run Windows 11 as the operating system. Ally can also be connected to ROG’s external GPU ROG XG Mobile eGPU if you want to stream games from Ally to your TV.
