A company called Migo has developed a robotic vacuum cleaner equipped with a feature that enables it to climb stairs and clean them.
The robot is called Ascender and can be used on all levels of a house without manually moving the robot between floors. Whether it works as smoothly as it appears in the animated video posted by Migo remains to be seen.
Migo plans to finance Ascender through a crowdfunding campaign. By participating in the campaign, one can obtain the stair-climbing robot vacuum for $999, but Migo intends to later sell it for approximately $1400.
