Variety reports that the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will not only have a sequel but also a spinoff series.
The sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will, like the original, be in 3D animation, while the spinoff series is intended to be in 2D animation. The idea behind the 2D animated TV series seems to be to connect the events that will happen in the first film with what will occur in the second film.
