The American TV channel CBS has decided to cancel the TV series True Lies. The first season of the series hasn’t even finished airing, but apparently it hasn’t garnered a significant audience, so it wasn’t economically feasible to continue producing it.
The series is based on the phenomenal action-comedy from 1994 of the same name, which in turn is based on the French film La Totale! from 1991. In the movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger played a secret agent who not only tries to save the world but also his marriage with Jamie Lee Curtis. The series more or less follows the same path, but the lead roles are played by Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga instead.
If by chance someone still wants to watch the series, it can be found on Disney+.
