It’s been almost two years since Amazon bought the iconic film studio MGM Studios. Now, some information has emerged about Amazon’s plans for all the film and TV rights that MGM has accumulated during its almost 100 years in the industry.
Deadline reports that Amazon plans to make both new movies and TV series based on the rights owned by MGM. Something that could be interesting for sci-fi fans is that there may be both new movies and TV series based on classic Stargate and Robocop.
In addition to Stargate and Robocop, Amazon is also considering making movies and/or TV series based on properties such as Legally Blonde, Fame, Barbershop, The Magnificent Seven, Pink Panther, and The Thomas Crown Affair, according to Deadline.
