We already know that Apple’s Vision Pro will feature dual microOLED screens with a total of 23 million pixels, but so far we haven’t heard anything about the screens’ refresh rate – until now.

During the session “Optimize app power and performance for spatial reality,” we learn that the screens will primarily refresh at 90 Hz. This means it’s halfway between the 60 Hz and 120 Hz we’ve seen on other Apple displays with “ProMotion.”

However, the screens are capable of running faster than 90 Hz, for example, when a user is watching a movie at 24 Hz, the screen ramps up to 96 Hz to reduce jitters since 24 doesn’t evenly divide into 90.
