If you are a developer with an idea for an app for Apple Vision Pro, you can now apply to borrow a development kit.
So, it’s necessary to apply, and Apple will decide who gets to borrow it; it can’t be purchased. If Apple finds your idea compelling enough, you will be granted access to the kit, and you will also receive some development assistance if needed. Once you’re done with the development, the kit should be returned to Apple.
