Withings is launching the ScanWatch 2, an updated version of its popular smartwatch. The new model includes more sensors to provide new health metrics.
Some of the new features include variation in baseline body temperature, measurement of menstrual cycles, heart rate stability, and automatic recognition of over 40 different types of physical activities.
The ScanWatch Light is a slightly cheaper and slightly smaller model that includes most of the features from the ScanWatch 2. However, it doesn’t have the temperature sensor from the ScanWatch 2 that can measure variation in baseline body temperature.
The ScanWatch 2 comes in two sizes, 38 mm and 42 mm, and can be pre-ordered now for $350. The ScanWatch Light comes in a 37 mm size and can be pre-ordered for $250.
