Yesterday, Chinese company Xiaomi showcased some new products, and among them was a new version of CyberDog, the robot dog they first unveiled two years ago.
In the image found at the bottom of this article, you can see CyberDog 2 on the right, alongside its predecessor CyberDog and Xiaomi’s humanoid robot CyberOne. As evident, CyberDog 2 is much smaller than the first version of CyberDog and has a design more akin to a regular dog.
Xiaomi’s new robot dog can move forward at a speed of about 5.4 km/h. Other specifications, such as battery life, haven’t been disclosed yet. You can check out Xiaomi’s own introduction video for CyberDog 2 below, where they showcase some of its capabilities.
CyberDog 2 will soon go on sale in China, costing around 13,000 yuan. There is currently no information on whether Xiaomi plans to launch CyberDog 2 in markets outside of China.
