Singapore is one of the countries at the forefront of using surveillance robots in various contexts. Now, the police in the country have started using two robots to patrol one of the terminals at Changi Airport.

Singapore’s “robocops” are 170 centimeters tall and can roll around the airport while their built-in cameras capture the surroundings in 360 degrees. The robots are also equipped with speakers and LCD screens through which they can communicate messages to people in proximity to the robots.

Police to deploy more patrol robots across Singapore
