Boston Dynamics has released a new advertisement for its robo-dog Spot, showcasing a bit of what it looks like when Spot performs various tasks.
The video does not contain any new information about Spot, and I have mainly posted it because I find it fascinating how we have gone from viewing robot dogs as something out of a sci-fi movie to accepting that it may be something we encounter in our daily lives in just a few years.
Boston Dynamics presented the first robo-dog named Spot in 2015, then the company revealed the current design of Spot in 2017, and Spot began selling in 2019.
