In recent years, Google has released an “a” version of its flagship phones, which are intended to be a bit more affordable. It looks like this trend will continue this year as we may see a Pixel 7a in early summer.

According to the latest rumors, the phone will feature a 6.1-inch 1080p OLED screen with 90Hz, Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, and UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup on the back will consist of a 64 MP Sony IMX787 main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also rumored that the phone will have support for wireless charging for the first time, but only up to 5W.

It is not entirely unlikely that we will see the Pixel 7a during Google I/O on May 1st.
