If you haven’t had enough of space horror after the Dead Space remake and The Callisto Protocol, Fort Solis might be worth keeping an eye on. It certainly impresses on the voice acting front, including talents like Troy Baker (Joel in The Last of Us, Higgs in Death Stranding, and many more) and Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2).
In a new video/trailer for the game, Baker talks a bit about why he jumped on the project. Apart from being drawn to the story and premise as a player, he has also been eager to work with Clark again since their time on Red Dead Redemption 2.
The game revolves around an alarm from a remote mining base on Mars, which the character Jack Leary (Clark) is assigned to investigate. Not surprisingly, all is not well, and Jack must piece together what has happened to the personnel using audio logs and surveillance footage, all while his escape route is blocked by a storm.
Fort Solis will be released on August 22nd for PlayStation 5 and PC, and a release on Xbox at a later date has not been ruled out.
