Once upon a time, Bill Gates mentioned that the classic game The 7th Guest was “the new standard in interactive entertainment” when it was released in the mid-90s.
The game was one of the first to utilize CD-ROM technology with pre-rendered 3D graphics and the use of live-action video clips, which impressed people. Now, the game is set to be released again, but this time rebuilt from the ground up for virtual reality.
The game is being developed by Vertigo Games for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and PC VR, with a release scheduled later this year.
