Bradley APC is a heavily armored military vehicle in Rust that patrols the roads of Launch Site and can be a formidable enemy for players who cross its path. In this guide, we will cover everything you need to know about the Bradley APC in Rust, including how to defeat it, and what rewards you can get for taking it down.
Defeating the Bradley APC:
The Bradley APC is heavily armored, and it’s not easy to take it down. However, there are some effective ways to defeat it:
- Rocket Launchers: The most effective way to take down the Bradley APC is by using rocket launchers. It takes 7 high velocity rockets to destroy the Bradley APC. It is recommended to take a few extra rockets with you though since you might miss a few.
- Explosives: If you don’t have rocket launchers, you can use explosives like f1 grenades, or C4, or explosive 5.56 rifle ammo to bring it down. It takes 40 f1 grenades but you will need to take more since you won’t hit every grenade perfectly, or you could use 3 C4. Or you could use at least 616 explosive 5.56 rifle ammo to take the beast down.
Take Bradley from the right places
We have now talked about how to defeat it but we haven’t talked about where to attack it. So below this you can see a map of the upper half of the launch site monument. You can also see the names of all the buildings and structures of the launch site.
The most common place to take down Bradley is in between the Recycler and the Mammoth buildings. Other common and good places to take it down will be at the Tower building and the Main entrance. Personally I like to take it down at the Main entrance since I find it comfortable defending that spot and it is really easy to take it down there.
You have loads of cover there and a small hut that you can sit in. If you are playing with friends, some good positions for them to be at are the Old Elite building, Recycler or Mammoth building. But this all depends on where you take it down.
Rewards for taking down the Bradley APC:
If you manage to take down the Bradley APC, you will get various amounts of good loot from the three military crates. After taking down Bradley the three crates will be burning so you will need to keep checking on the crates to see if the fire went out, otherwise you can’t loot the crates.

The Bradley APC will give you different types of loot. It can give you some of the best loot in the game, as an example we have the M249, Assault Rifle, LR-300, C4, rockets and loads more. Below here you will see a map of what you can get upon destroying the Bradley APC.
Later on when the area has calmed down after all the fighting over the crates. I recommend bringing over some type of harvesting tool so that you can harvest the Bradley’s remains. By doing that you will receive Metal fragments, High quality metal and charcoal.

Bradley is a formidable enemy that is not easy to take down. But with the right equipment and strategy you will be a big threat to the Bradley APC.
