There is a hot topic that has gone viral these days regarding the new feature of the perennial life simulator known as The Sims 4. This is because fans of this game can enjoy downloading The Sims 4 from the EA Origin PC gaming store for free.
All you have to do is to visit the store and then log in or sign up for an Origin account. After doing that you can hit the button that would add The Sims 4 to your account. If you don’t know where to get the link, simply click the EA Origin website to go directly to the download location.
Downloading The Sims 4
- After downloading the app from the link provided, open the app on your PC
- Then sign into your Origin account if you already have one or you can create a new one
- Go to ‘My Home’ tab after signing in
- There is a promotion to get The Sims 4 for free until May 28, so you better hurry
- Then, pick The Sims 4 standard edition after being prompted to select
- There are on-screen instructions that you need to follow to start downloading the game
- After the download is complete, it will take a few minutes which depends on your Internet speed
- After the game has been downloaded and installed, you can now open the ‘My Game Library’ tab and click on The Sims 4 icon in order to start playing the game
Take note that The Sims publisher Electronic Sports is giving away the standard PC version of The Sims 4 on a limited offer. Simply pick the keyword named ‘standard’.
You may use the Digital Deluxe version priced at $50 or the standard version normally priced at $40. But for now, the publisher is giving the latter for everyone for free on PC.
However, the standard version only contains the base Sims 4 game. The Digital Deluxe copy will include the base game with the DLC packs such as The Life of the Party, Up All Night, and the Awesome Animal Hats. Moreover, there will be a digital copy of the soundtrack for The Sims 4.
This promo for the Digital Deluxe, however, is part of the free game library for EA Access subscribers, which is priced at either $5/month or $30/year. Only the standard version of the game will be completely free for the duration of the deal.
Expansion Packs For Standard Version
You will also have the chance to buy any of The Sims 4 expansion packs and DLC items if you pick any of the versions. This will be on a 10% off from the base prices. You can get a few out of the box from the Digital Deluxe version, but there are also several more available.

The expansion packs will add many new content to the game, including new outfits, customization options for the Sims characters, and new gameplay. Additionally, you will be able to get tons of other items to collect even if you stay with the free standard edition and without paying or any upgrades.
