Flashback is a beloved side-scrolling platform game from 1992 that impressed players with its character animations and story. It received a sequel called Fade to Black, and over 30 years later, it’s time for another game in the series, titled Flashback 2. However, the flat pixel graphics from the first game are gone, replaced by 2.5D environments that allow the player to move in a certain depth.
The latest trailer gives us a glimpse of the Titan Jungle environment, which is one of five in the game. Once again, players will battle against the morphs gang, who have kidnapped the main character Conrad’s friend Ian this time. To save him and the world, platforming and combat with upgradable weapons and equipment are required.
Fortunately, it seems there won’t be any further delays, and Flashback 2 will be released on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on November 16th.
