There’s no doubt that the Nintendo Switch is a hit, but it is far from perfect.

In fact, most fans have a laundry list of changes they’d like to see implemented in the near future.

Some make total sense, while others are completely bizarre.

We’ve sifted through the mess and collected 5 most-requested features for the Nintendo Switch that we’d like to see.

Of course, whether or not any of this actually happens is all up to the Big N.

That said, we’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section so don’t hesitate to tell us your list as well.

Here are our top five most-requested features for the Nintendo Switch:

5. More Wii U Ports

The Wii U had a ton of great games, even if it didn’t get the most love from consumers.

The question is, why aren’t these games showing up on Nintendo Switch, and like yesterday?

On top of that, there are also a lot of Wii library games that need to be released for the Switch ASAP.

Who knows why Nintendo is dragging their heels on releasing these triple-A titles but the demand for them isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

4. Nintendo-Themed Labo

Labo is cool and all but people really want like a Mario-themed Labo or something along those lines. The Labo VR concept is cool, but it still doesn’t feel like “Nintendo.”

A Nintendo-themed Labo kit would solve this problem and probably draw a ton of attention to the format.

Think how cool a Mario game could be with integrated Labo or something along those lines.

3. USB 3.0 Enabled

This was a promised feature and it has yet to show up on the Nintendo Switch. No one is quite sure why, either.

From faster transfer times to overall speed concerns, USB 3.0 is the latest and greatest in the ubiquitous standard, and Nintendo needs to find a way to implement it on their Switch handhelds.

2. Messaging System

This is almost becoming a running joke among Nintendo fans but where is the Switchs’ messaging system?

Nintendo (more than most) has a lot of concerns about exposing some of its audience to the less sundy parts of the Internet.

Still, this doesn’t explain why friends can’t message each other on the Switch. There are so many things that it does right that you would think this basic feature would be available by now but it isn’t.

1. 3DS Type Activity Log

The 3DS handheld had a robust activity log. The Switch? Not so much. This is one of those requests from fans that should be easy to implement and a no brainer in terms of maintenance.

Whether or not you will be seeing one in the future still depends on what direction Nintendo takes with the console but we think this is something they need to bump to the top of their list – and fast.
