Samsung has unveiled a rollable OLED display that measures 49 mm in width (height) when rolled up and expands to a full width (height) of 254.4 mm when fully unrolled.
The display, or panel, is called the “Rollable Flex OLED” and is being showcased to visitors at the “Display Week” exhibition, which began in Los Angeles yesterday. Samsung Display has not yet released information about the panel’s resolution or other specifications.
There is no information available yet regarding the products in which we might see the “Rollable Flex OLED” in the future. However, it could potentially be a good fit for mobile phones for users who prefer larger screens on their devices.
