The series is based on the novel of the same name by Zakiya Dalila Harris. In the series, we see Sinclair Daniel as Nella, the only Black woman at her publishing company, and Ashleigh Murray as Hazel, the newly hired Black woman.
The series is coming to Hulu. The entire series will premiere on September 13th and is produced by Rashida Jones, known for her work on “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Silo.”
