Netflix has now released a trailer for the German sci-fi film Paradise, which premieres next month.
The movie is set in a dystopian version of the near future where people can sell years of their lives to the biotech company Aeon, which then resells them to super-rich individuals who want to extend their lifespan.
In the film, viewers follow a couple where the woman must sell 38 years of her life to Aeon to pay off an insurance debt. The man in the relationship then tries his best to find a way to regain the sold years for the woman.
Paradise starts streaming on Netflix on July 27th.
