Soon, there will be a fourth Pet Sematary film, based on the novel of the same name that Stephen King released 40 years ago.
The new film in the ‘Pet Sematary’ series is titled ‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines,’ and it features actors like David Duchovny, Samantha Mathis, Pam Grier, and Henry Thomas. The film is set in 1969 and revolves around a young version of Jud Crandall (Jackson White), a character also featured in the original Pet Sematary film released in 1989, as well as in the 2019 remake. Paramount describes the film:
In 1969, a young Jud Crandall has dreams of leaving his hometown of Ludlow, Maine behind, but soon discovers sinister secrets buried within and is forced to confront a dark family history that will forever keep him connected to Ludlow. Banding together, Jud and his childhood friends must fight an ancient evil that has gripped Ludlow since its founding, and once unearthed has the power to destroy everything in its path.
Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will begin streaming on Paramount+ in the USA on October 6th.
