Greta Gerwig’s Barbie breaks records as Warner Bros.’ most successful film in history.
This Monday, ‘Barbie‘ will surpass ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ as the highest-grossing film in Warner Bros.’ history, according to Variety. Over the weekend, it earned $18.2 million from 12,852 theaters across 75 countries, pushing its total revenue to a whopping $1.34 billion.
And let’s not forget the phenomenon of ‘Barbenheimer‘. Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer‘ is approaching $800 million, which is quite impressive for such a lengthy film, mostly composed of dialogue.
