The German newspaper Handelsblatt claims to have obtained around 23,000 documents from Tesla, leaked by someone with connections to the company. The leaked documents reportedly include information on the cybertruck, spreadsheets containing employee salaries and addresses, as well as confidential documents on accidents involving the self-driving feature.

Among the documents relating to self-driving cars, it is stated that over 1,000 accidents involving them have been reported. Additionally, the files contain 2,400 complaints about Tesla vehicles’ self-acceleration feature and 1,500 reports of serious braking problems.

So far, Tesla has not provided any comment on the leaked information to Handelsblatt, other than the company’s lawyer stating that “media reporting on illegally obtained data is only permitted under exceptional circumstances.”
