Mercedes now presents the new concept car One-Eleven, which is inspired by the C111 prototypes developed in the 60s and 70s.
The gullwing doors are present, but the technical similarities end there. The new car is fully electric, packed with futuristic features.
While the old cars experimented with both Wankel and diesel engines, this one features dual electric motors. These motors, developed by Yasa, are lighter and more compact than today’s electric motors, making them a potential inclusion in future models. The batteries, developed in collaboration with the Mercedes F1 team, utilize liquid-cooled cylindrical cells.
It’s important to note that this is just a concept, and Mercedes is not revealing many technical details under the hood at this time.
