Bose has today introduced its new headphone series, QuietComfort Ultra, which includes new over-ear and in-ear headphones. The big news is that the headphones will support spatial audio, which Bose claims will make the music sound ‘more real than ever.’

The over-ear headphones also offer what Bose calls its quietest noise cancellation yet. QuietComfort Ultra models also support Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound Technology and aptX Adaptive. They also have Bose CustomTune calibration and Bose Aware Mode with ActiveSense for automatic noise cancellation adjustments. The headphones have improved microphones for calls and can be folded flat for transport. The battery life is up to 24 hours without Immersive Audio (spatial sound) and 18 hours with it enabled for the over-ear version.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra over-ear headphones are priced at $429, and Bose QuietComfort Ultra in-ear headphones cost $299. Bose has also released the new Bose QuietComfort Headphones, which seem to be more or less QC45 with a new name, priced at $349.
