At least certain iPhone 15 models could experience quicker charging rates with a power output of up to 35W, alongside the transition to USB-C, according to 9to5Mac.
Currently, iPhone 14 models can be charged at a maximum power of about 27W, so an increase to 35W would result in noticeably faster charging times. There are speculations that Apple might restrict the faster charging speeds to MFi-certified cables and chargers, and it’s also possible that the enhanced charging speeds could be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models.
