Selfies have gone mainstream. They are so common now the average millennial is expected to take nearly 28,000 in their lifetime. If you’re going to do it, you may as well learn how to do it well.
Most millennials take 9 selfies per week averaging 7 minutes per selfie – over an hour a week! Learning a few tricks can help you shave some time off that figure.
For starters, be aware of your light source and background. Divide your screen into 9 parts and place your face slightly offset with your eyes ⅓ of the way down. Try to utilize a longer depth of field so the background fades out. And if you wear glasses tilt your head away from the light source to minimize glare.
