Algadon Free Online RPG

We last wrote about Mafia MoFo. Today we’re looking at a free online game called Algadon. It is similar to Mafia MoFo in some ways, though it seems to take the best features from numerous online games and add in its own unique features to comprise an excellent new creation. Algadon is medieval fantasy themed, which is an excellent alternative to all the mafia style games.

Recently, there has been a lot of activity with online mafia / mobster games, from the problems with Mafia Wars to the launch of Bulletproof, New Mafia, and more. You may be asking why you would care about yet another mafia game.Mafia MoFo sets itself apart from the rest in several ways. Mafia MoFo is not a MySpace game, which generally makes it more easily accessible, without the performance issues associated with Myspace. However, what really sets Mafia MoFo apart from the rest is the amount of activities that are available to perform. Mafia MoFo is miles ahead of the other games in this regard.

A new MySpace game has recently surfaced that is poised to give Mafia Wars some stiff competition. Named Bulletproof, the game offers players a number of advantages over Mafia Wars, especially considering the recent frustration Zynga has caused for many of its players.

For those not familiar with the game, Mafia Wars is a Myspace game, produced by Zynga, that has garnered massive popularity since its inception. In Mafia Wars, you are the leader of your family. You build up your family, equip them with attack and defense items as well as vehicles, and fight with other families in the game, building your character up as you go with stronger attack, defense, health, energy, and stamina.

Alan Turing wrote a seminal paper in 1950 titled 'Computing Machinery and Intelligence'. In it, he states that a thinking computer is impossible to distinguish from a human in text-based conversation. Amazon Video on Demand Service

Amazon has officially launched a new Video on Demand service that offers no-hassle, cross-platform streaming movies and TV shows. The web site offers a clean and simple interface for easily streaming content to a PC or Mac. Amazon claims 40,000 movie and TV titles to choose from, both new and old content.

Geo-Eye 1 Satellite Launched

Google successfully launched the Geo-Eye 1 satellite yesterday that is engineered to transmit high-resolution satellite imagery back to Earth for use by Google and the U.S. government. Google's founder's attended the launch event, which coincides with Google's 10th birthday celebration. Information analyzed by the satellite will be reviewed for national security by the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Google's arrangement also allows them sole access to the images, which will be used to improve the Google Maps and Google Earth services. The first high-quality images will be available to Google in 1-2 months.

Google Chrome Tops Opera in Web Browser Market Share

According to NetApplications, the new Google Chrome web browser release has already overtaken Opera in web browser market share. NetApplications has been monitoring Chrome usage hourly since its release, and reported that it reached a 1.57% market share on 9/4 at 2:00 AM EDT. The usage has dropped some since then, but never below the 0.74% market share held by Opera. At present, Google Chrome is holding at 1.09%.
